GAFE Summit
On Wednesday we went to GAFE we had to come to school by 7:20 so it was really early, when we got there we went inside we got bags and in the bags there was a lanyard, a card to write our name on it so at the end of the day we could get a prize... Anyways our first session was the animation one we picked a character and went to slides we made the character move and move higher. The next one I went to was Johanna and Ashmira's one they made us play a game from the movie dog with a blog. It was fun but not much people went there one about 7 people were there. It was 2 break time we played on the playground and had fun until break time was finished. It was my turn and about 25 people came to my workshop, we played a game called kahoot and had 2 rounds one was by yourself and the other was in a table group. We made everyone do a mini survey but only our school could view it which was sad because that meant we couldn't see what people thought about our workshop. Onto the last one we went to google cardboard we had a piece of cardboard and put a phone in it, looked around in it and was magical! Well not really magical it was just an app.

Ka pai Jessica,
ReplyDeleteI am really enjoying your descriptive posts. I would love for you to teach me how to animate. I was really proud of you, Kavisha and Aleena and your presentation- you were so resilient and confident together- great collaboration. Magical google cardboard indeed- I wonder how we could use google cardboard and photospehere in our learning- any thoughts? Too bad we didn't know about photosphere before we went to the zoo eh?
