The 7 Wonders of the World!

This morning we had a google expedition  and during  that time we had google cardboard glasses and what it does is inside of it there's a phone and it has a simulator inside of it and if you look around in it theres a lot of stuff and its so decorative and it feels like your actually there. We explored 7 different Wonders. We even had 5 minutes extra time and in that extra time we explored the underwater wonders and what it looks like underwater. I really enjoyed using the google cardboard and I hope we can use it for our learning and just for fun!

Learning Observed and Vision Principles

In the second half of Term 4, all of the OrmPS learners have been participating in Trash to Flash - turning old used items into something new and usable. All of the LH1 learners began this journey by spending time looking on the LH1 Pinterest account. Everyone selected a category that they were the most interested in. Ashmira, Jessica, Johanna and Divya all selected Girls Fashion. They were curious about making an infinity scarf out of old t-shirts. However, before they could make this, they had to go through a test run with the Design Thinking Process. As a group, all of the Girl’s Fashion and Pets & Animals learners made ladybug fridge magnets. The girls then took the template we used as a larger group and the personalised it to their infinity scarf creation, demonstrating their capability with understanding the design process. Collaboratively, they shared this template and filled it in on Google Slides.

Next Learning Steps

Add some photos to your blog of your final creation in Week 10. Reflect on how successful your planning was, as well as how well you felt your final product turned out. Make another prototype showing changes and improvements to the design.

Movember!

This month Mr Dyer and Mr Hattie are doing something called Movember. Mr Dyer and Mr Hattie are gaining there beards and making them a different/funny shape. On Friday everyone that made a beard has to bring it and show it off to the whole school. I am currently making one at home and I'm making it cotton balls because they are fuffy and it feels like hair. I also want to see if the cotton balls will stick to the straw because I'm using a straw to hold it. One thing that i also wonder is how long is Mr Dyer and Mr Hattie's beard will be at the end of the month and its only a few days away!

C.A.T time!

This week right now was suppose to be CAT time for the people who got CAT time last week but sadly Ms Wilkes isn't here and she planned the whole thing so we have to wait for her to come back. I also want to be in this weeks CAT time so I can be in CAT time for maybe 2 days in a row. I wonder what Ms Wilkes is planning right now for CAT time and maybe she is planning something that mostly everyone likes which is Minecraft maybe we will be playing that and building something together but I really want to know what Ms Wilkes planned for CAT time because it might be interesting.

National Young Leaders Day

            Today we met so much different leaders like Jamie Mcdell and William Pike, they were all
             leaders and did something very amazing. They had great achievements of doing something
            special and here are they people that were introduced
                      - William Pike climbed Mt. Ruapehy
                      - Rukumoana teased but followed her dreams for whatever she wanted even though no one supported her.
                      - Riley and Steve an underwater cameraman and on tv (our big blue backyard)
                      - Darryl Sabin head injury and is still recovering after 6 years.
                      - Libby Christopher helped saved the dolphins
                      - Phoenix a great person at Hip Hop.
                      - Alex and Corban leaders of The Block
                      - Alison breakfast news reporter
              But today I'm going to do Jamie McDell
                 She is a famous singer and she was writing songs everyday after school it was like a diary
                 of the day but in a version of a song so if she was in detention she would write a song
                 about it.z
                   

My Favourite Game!

This blog post is about my favourite game and my favourite game is called Starstable. Starstable is a online horse game and horses are my favourite animal and on the game I'm a lifetime star rider and lifetime star riders have unlimited quests onand they can level up to any level and also unlock places like Silverglade/steve's farm and dino valley and also golden hills valley. Also there are quests to get more xp and also if you press l on your keyboard you will get a quest log and the quest log says all the quests and races that are available. The races level up your horse and the quests are for you to finish. Some quest take 8 days to finish like unlocking places and a quest to find Tan's wallet it takes about 5 days to do it.

Halloween!!! Trick or Treating!!

On Saturday me and my sister Johanna went trick or treating and we had fun we collected a lot of candy but not from every house because we went trick or treating with our grandma's friends and there were a lot an some people ran out of candy and me and Johanna never got some. But when we arrived at house we ate 2 pieces of candy and we still have a lot I still have about 29 pieces to eat and I might still eat some more tonight because tonight we have to go to kumon so I might bring some candy there to eat.
