Edrei Cullen used the blurb and title, cover images, descriptive language to show what the story is about. All of these things help me to know the purposes are when I read this novel.
The blurb talks about Ella's school being invaded and asks you what will happen and tells you a bit about the flitterwing and magicals in the story.
Edrei Cullen tells you how the characters speak like when she adds more words to show how
they speak like.
I think the image of the girl in the front cover is Ella as a flitterwing which shows her flying in the air with another tiny flitterwing behind her pulling her shoelace
