This week is Maori language week and this week Mr Dyers old school Manurewa Intermediate performed for us and we split up in 2 groups (boys with boys and girls with girls) and the boys learnt the haka and girls learnt how to sing a waiata, which we then performed in front of LH 2,4 and the boys won because they were very loud at doing the haka. Maori language week and has been going on for over 40 years now and this week we learnt how to sign and say 1-10 in Maori.

Collaboration

                                                                         Collaboration

Collaboration is one of the 4C's in our school logo,
it means to share things like our ideas.
One of the most important things that you need to know about collaboration is that you need to listen to who is talking because if you don't listen to the other person who's talking that means your not collaborating with that person because your just talking over them.

It's like people working together to complete something like ants when they work
together to get food to carry home to share eating.
We can also collaborative if we work together and if we listen to each others ideas we will be collaborating and learn other thing from other people.
